Traphaco organizes training course on corporate governance for senior officials

With the aim of improving knowledge and skills in corporate governance in accordance with the law of Vietnam and international standards for the members of the Board of Directors, Executive Board, Supervisory Board, and other managers in the company, on February 23^rd-24^th 2017, Traphaco organized a training course on corporate management, with lecturers coming from the Center for Securities Science Research and Training of the State Securities Commission.

The training course was designed with 4 topics to provide practical knowledge that is highly applicable in practice in corporate governance in Vietnam.

Topic 1: General knowledge on corporate governance

Topic 2: International standards and practices on corporate governance

Topic 3: The existing legal provisions on corporate governance in Vietnam

Topic 4: Discussion of the issues arising in relation to Traphaco.

The course was an opportunity for Traphaco officials to share practical experience in management, administration and exchange ideas, views with lecturers on corporate governance, from which they could have more comprehensive view in practice of corporate governance in Traphaco.

The training course helped attendants understand the overview of corporate governance, the role and benefits of corporate governance for companies, especially listed firms as Traphaco. It also enabled trainees understand the nature and the core content of responsibilities and powers, obligations and duties of the General Meeting of Shareholders, appointment, removal and remuneration for the corporate governance apparatus and international experiences and practices applied in Vietnam in the implementation of the rights of shareholders.
