Traphaco receives Hanoi Chairman’s Emulation Flag

On October 13 the Hanoi People’s Committee and the Hanoi Fatherland Front jointly held a conference to honor the outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs and to launch the Month for the Poor 2016 at the Hanoi Friendship Cultural House, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

Attending the meeting were Vietnam’s Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, a member of the Party Central Committee; Hanoi Party Secretary Hoang Trung Hai, who is a Politburo member; Hanoi Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung and officials of ministries, departments, agencies, associations and representatives of 30 districts of Hanoi.

The conference aimed to further enhance the awareness of the Party committees, government agencies at all levels, social organizations and all people about the position and the role of businesses and entrepreneurs in the construction and development of the capital city.

The conference also praised the achievements of businesses and entrepreneurs in the movement of production and their assistance for the poor.

Speaking at the conference, Hanoi Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung said that every year, businesses contribute up to 60% of Hanoi’s total budget revenues; create jobs and stable incomes for more than 2 million people.

He asked the local business community to strongly support the emulation movement called "Vietnamese businesses on the path of integration - development" that was recently launched by the Prime Minister. He also called for businesses to continue contributing to build and develop the city’s economy.

The important contribution of the outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs with the capital city’s and the country’s development was also praised at the conference.

On behalf of the Hanoi People's Committee, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung presented the emulation flag to Mr. Tran Tuc Ma, general director of Traphaco JSC, for the company’s significant achievements in the emulation movement in 2016. This is the city’s recognition of Traphaco’s outstanding efforts in production and business activities and its contribution to ensure jobs, economic and social development as well as social welfares in the city.
