Celebrating 50 years of Traphaco tradition anniversary day for the 6th time in a row as National Brand 2022

On November 2nd, 2022, the Announcement Ceremony of Enterprises whose products won the National Brand in 2022 - The only program of the Vietnamese Government on promoting the national brand through product brands, was solemnly held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Hanoi. Traphaco Joint Stock Company and 6 product brands were honored to be awarded the National Brand Logo by the Prime Minister for the 6th time in a row.

According to Deputy Minister Do Thang Hai - Ministry of Industry and Trade, the program is an opportunity to continue to honor typical product brands and businesses representing the National Brand, in order to build an image of Vietnam as a country have a good reputation for goods and services; thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese product brands in domestic and international markets.

To carry out the selection process, the Secretariat Department invited a total of 39 experts to participate in grading the application, and at the same time invited reputable specialized units to evaluate the criteria related to each application, such as: Mibrand Joint Stock Company, KPMG Company, Vietnam National Credit Information Center... Besides, the Secretariat Department has sent a dispatch to consult specialized management agencies on specialized law enforcement.
Overcoming hundreds of other businesses, Traphaco is very honored to have 6 product brands that won the Vietnam National Brand in the 2022 selection: Boganic liver tonic, Hoat Huyet Duong Nao brain tonic, Cebraton brain tonic, Tottri hemorrhoids drug treatment, Methorphan cough medicine and T-B mouthwash. This achievement is the pride of more than 1,500 employees of the whole system who are working every day to build a Vietnamese brand, pursuing the values that the country is aiming for in the current integration period “Quality - Innovation - Pioneering capacity".

Affirming the first position in Oriental Medicine, pioneering in the development of high-quality herbal medicines, Traphaco has developed a model for sustainable development of medicinal herbs. The company is the first enterprise to have 5 growing areas that meet GACP-WHO standards for 5 medicinal herbs (Ming aralia, Glinus oppositifolius, Artichoke, Ipomoea nil, Ampelopsis cantoniensis).

In its Sustainable Development Strategy, Traphaco aims to lead the 4.0 Pharma trend, applying modern technology in business activities. In 2017, Traphaco invested in building a "smart", synchronous, robotic and fully automated pharmaceutical factory for production lines. In the coming years, Traphaco pursues the strategy of "Maintaining the First Position of Oriental Medicine – Focus on developing Non Herbal Medicine”. High-level modern pharmaceutical products will be invested and developed through technology transfer (and exclusive importation) of products from major pharmaceutical corporations in the world, expanding the high content product portfolio with high technology. Traphaco's modern medicine segment with smart factories is operating well, showing positive growth prospects.

Continuing to be recognized as "National Brand 2022" is the recognition of the Government and people of Vietnam for Traphaco's efforts in the process of innovation and continuous quality improvement to serve donate "green" products suitable for modern society - Vietnamese medicinal products for the Vietnamese people.

After 50 years with so many efforts and even the silent sacrifices of generations of employees, Traphaco today has become strong, following the double growth momentum with 2021 sales reaching 2160 billion Dong, profit after tax reached 265 billion Dong; In the first 9 months of 2022, revenue reached 1830 billion Dong, up 15%, profit after tax reached 250 billion Dong, up 28% over the same period. Along with that, Traphaco won many major titles and awards, such as: National Brand, National and International Asia-Pacific Quality Gold Award, Top 10 Vietnamese Gold Stars, Top 10 Sustainable Enterprises, Typical Enterprise for employees. One of the six Traphaco brands awarded the National Brand is Boganic liver tonic, the number one brand in the hepatobiliary market in Vietnam. Boganic has been researched and improved and innovated for more than 20 years and is trusted (since 1999).
