Trade Union Congress of Traphaco Joint Stock Company for the term 2023-2028

On the afternoon of May 29th, 2023, Traphaco Joint Stock Company held the 8th Trade Union Congress, term 2023-2028.

Attending the meeting there were Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong - Chairman of Vietnam Transport Union, Mrs. Au Thi Dinh - Chief of Office of Vietnam Transport Union, Mr. Tran Tuc Ma - Secretary of Party Committee, CEO of Traphaco Joint Stock Company, Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh Duyen – Director of Traphaco Hung Yen Co., Ltd., Mrs. Hoang Thi Huong – President of Trade Union, Deputy Director of Traphaco Hung Yen Co., Ltd., Mr. Nguyen Duy Ky – President of Trade Union, Deputy Director of Traphaco High Tech Joint Stock Company ... and more than 160 members representing nearly 1000 members throughout the company.

During the last term, the Trade Union of Traphaco Joint Stock Company has always received the attention and guidance of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Transport Trade Union, the facilitation of the Party Committee, the company's leaders, and the solidarity and consensus of the union members in the implementation of the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress. The Executive Board of the Trade Union has worked closely with the Board of Directors of the Company to stabilize the organization and personnel, making business activities more and more effective. In 2022, revenue increased by 32% compared to 2018, profit after tax increased by 68% compared to 2018 (VND 174 billion). The Company fully fulfills its obligations to pay the State budget and on time. Income next year is 10% higher than last year on average, in 2022 it will reach 28,800,000 VND/person/month, income in 2017/2018 will increase by 42%, ensuring stable jobs for employees, the material and spiritual life of employees is increasingly improved.

In the second half of the 2018-2023 term, the Covid 19 epidemic broke out, complicated developments, especially in the third quarter of 2021 in the South and the first months of 2022, greatly affecting the production and business situation of the company. Accordingly, union activities are also restricted. The Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union always actively captures information, learns the thoughts and aspirations of the union members, and performs well in professional tasks. When an epidemic occurs, Employees are allowed to work from home (Online) and receive a salary of 80% according to 3P method; Sales staff who have 1:1 contact with customers (social distancing) are supported by the company with an additional 100,000 VND/day (for pharmacists) and 200,000 VND/day (for drivers - delivery-collection) in addition to salary; F0 infected workers are supported by the company 4,000,000 VND/person (in 2022), 8,000,000 VND/person (in 2021), the total support is 2.77 billion VND.

Every year, the company maintains visits, vacations, spring trips, birthdays for 100% of employees (the vacation budget is at least VND 6,000,000/person: in 2021-2022, it will increase to VND 8,000,000 VND/person; spring trip holiday 500,000 VND/person; birthday 300,000 VND/person, from 2021-2022 and increased to 800,000 VND/person); organize for cadres with outstanding achievements to go on vacation trips in the country or abroad; organize visits to martyrs' families, organize for cadres who are children of martyrs on the occasion of the 27th of July to visit the old battlefields, to study abroad; organize lunch for employees at the unit with at least 30,000 VND/person/meal; support against heat and epidemic prevention with practical products such as sugar and milk, with a total budget of at least 500,000 VND/person/year; unexpected allowances, sick visits, filial piety, weddings, regular birthdays for trade union members, parents and employees of employees, in difficult circumstances. The company invests in advanced and modern equipment, increases labor productivity and improves working conditions, ensures adequate and timely other regimes and policies for employees such as toxic training, labor protection, environmental inspection, periodical health check... in accordance with the State's regulations. The trade union promptly resolved the petitions of the union members in accordance with the law, no labor disputes occurred.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Tuc Ma - Secretary of the Party Committee, CEO of the company expressed his joy with the achievements that the Company and the Trade Union have made in the past term, recognizing the efforts contributions of all employees. He said that the company's leadership will create a favorable working environment for the executive committee of the trade union as well as all members of the company, ensuring enough jobs, increasing workers' incomes by at least 5% per year in the whole system and spreading Traphaco culture.

At the congress, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Transport Trade Union set out eight key tasks for the 2023-2028 term, towards renovating the organization and operation of the Trade Union in the new current situation. In addition, the Executive Board of the trade union of the company needs to coordinate more effectively in professional work, ensure jobs for employees, strengthen inspection and supervision, continue to contribute to the development of the business. 

At the congress, union members highly agreed on the personnel project of the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union for the term 2023-2028. The Congress conducted the election of the Executive Committee for the term 2023 - 2028 with 11 comrades. Besides, the congress also elects 3 delegates to attend the superior trade union congress along with the incumbent delegate, comrade Tran Thi Anh Phuong - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Transport Union.

The Congress of grassroots Trade Union representatives Traphaco Joint Stock Company has had great success and trust under the direction of Vietnam Transport Trade Union, Party Committee; The Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the new term will organize the successful implementation of the Resolutions of the Party and the Trade Union Congress at all levels, contributing to the excellent completion of the set goals, taking care of and improving the lives of employees, building a sustainable development company.
