On December 1st, during the Announcement Ceremony of Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam organized by the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), Traphaco Joint Stock Company was honored as a Sustainable Enterprise in 2022.
Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Member of the Politburo, Head of the Central Economic Commission and Mr. Pham Tan Cong - President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) presented certificates to Mrs. Dao Thuy Ha - Chief Operating Officer of the Company
From more than 600 business profiles participating, the organizers selected 148 profiles to judge the final round, thereby identifying the 100 most typical business faces to praise in the announcement ceremony "Sustainable enterprises in Vietnam" on December 1st. In addition to honoring the main category of Sustainable Enterprises, the program also finds pioneering businesses that perform well in three thematic categories including promoting women's empowerment and gender equality in the workplace, respecting human rights and children's rights in doing business and implementing the circular economy model, contributing to climate change response.
Back to the picture of Vietnam, the trend of sustainable business is also becoming clearer in recent years. Many typical enterprises, including Traphaco, are implementing very well green and clean production models, bringing the circular element deep into the production and supply chain; create sustainable livelihoods for disadvantaged communities through an inclusive business model; or practice diverse and inclusive culture in the business. However, perhaps the story of sustainable business still mainly takes place in large enterprises, not yet vibrant and strong in the small and medium enterprises sector.
Since 2016, VCCI has coordinated with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to organize a program to evaluate and announce Vietnamese Sustainable Enterprises (CSI), thereby finding 100 typical business representatives in sustainable business to honor with the title of Vietnam Sustainable Enterprise every year. The CSI program is highly appreciated, as a "push" to encourage the business community to commit more strongly to sustainable development.
The basis for assessing the level of sustainable development of enterprises participating in the program is the Corporates Sustainability Index (CSI). The CSI set of index is also a tool to support businesses to implement sustainable corporate governance very scientifically and effectively. Every year, the Index is updated in line with changes in current domestic legal policies and international regulations. Therefore, when looking at the CSI Index, businesses will be able to assess their overall "health" in terms of governance, economy, society and environment; detect vulnerabilities that need to be fixed or development potentials that need to be exploited early. The CSI 2022 set of indicators has 130 indicators, of which ESG content has been integrated.
Within the framework of Vietnam Corporates Sustainability Forum (VCSF) 2022, on October 26th, 2022, Traphaco Joint Stock Company attended and was a guest speaker in the symposium "Promoting diversity and inclusion factors in sustainable business in the digital age” organized by VCCI-VBCSD.
Promoting diversity, integration and inclusion in sustainable business in the digital age is not only a new trend that needs attention, but it is also an urgent requirement for business leaders when building corporate culture and formulating sustainable business development strategies.

The training and guidance help them gain more skills and knowledge, expand their thinking, access new technology, and support their other activities.
Traphaco's mission is to create green pharmaceuticals - pharmaceuticals produced on the basis of a green supply chain from clean raw materials to production technology, an environmentally friendly distribution system and services, and bring high prices treatment for the community. With contributions over the past half century to sustainable development and disadvantaged communities from an inclusive economic model, Traphaco is the first company in Vietnam to become a member of the Union for Ethical Biotrade (UEBT), is the Top 10 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam, honored to win the Asia Corporates Excellence and Sustainability Award in 2022.
