2016 was the second consecutive year of success of Traphaco JSC with the implementation of the sales policy for the system of pharmacies. Together with the over-the-counter (OTC) sales policy, Traphaco kept expanding its production scale with the construction of the modern Vietnam Pharmaceutical Factory. On November 25th 2016 morning, Traphaco JSC solemnly celebrated its 44th anniversary of the company’s Traditional Day (28/11/1972 - 11/28/2016) in Hanoi.
The list of the 100 sustainable enterprises of Vietnam 2016 was released at a ceremony held on November 8th in Hanoi. At the event, Traphaco JSC was honored as one of the top ten sustainable businesses in the field of production.
On October 29 morning, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, a Politburo member and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) led a delegation of the central steering board of the campaign “Vietnamese people use Vietnamese goods” to visit the headquarters of Traphaco JSC in Hanoi and meet with Traphaco Chairwoman Vu Thi Thuan and Traphaco General Director Tran Tuc Ma.
On October 29 morning, Traphaco JSC received the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs’ certificate of merit for its endless efforts to improve the working environment, the physical and spiritual life of its employees and to build the healthy working culture, harmonious labor relations towards sustainable development in the process of integration and development at a ceremony held at the National Convention Center in Hanoi.
On October 25 Vietnam Report of VietNamNet Newspaper - the Ministry of Information and Communications - officially announced the Top 10 Prestigious Pharmaceutical Companies of Vietnam in 2016.
On October 13 the Hanoi People’s Committee and the Hanoi Fatherland Front jointly held a conference to honor the outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs and to launch the Month for the Poor 2016 at the Hanoi Friendship Cultural House, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

After more than five years implementing the state-level research project entitled "Exploitation and development of Dioscorea hamiltonii (Chinese yam) and Coix lacryma-jobi (coixseed) genetic resources as raw materials to produce medicine,” on September 30th 2016 Traphaco’s pharmacist Nguyen Thi Van Anh, who chaired the research, successfully defendede the project in front of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s State-level Genetic Fund Assessment Council.
